- Board certified in nephrology and internal medicine
- Extensive ongoing experience performing internal medicine and nephrology reviews for utilization review companies
- Has served on Southeast Kidney Council Board of Directors
- Has served as medical director of a dialysis unit
- Has serves as transplant selection designee at Carolinas Medical Center
- Has served on several hospital committees including Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Nutrition Committee
- Active hospital priveleges at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC
- Provides medical education for housestaff and medical students at Carolinas Medical Center
- Academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Univ of NC at Chapel Hill School of Medicine
- Currently holds several active state medical licenses
