ABOUT DR. WOOD

Dr. Jim Wood is a Yale-trained physician who practices in Charlotte, NC. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.  He has nearly 20 years experience in the field of medical management/utilization review.  Dr Wood has also performed legal merit reviews.

Dr Wood grew up in northeast Arkansas, working on the family’s farm during the summers.  After attending college and medical school in Arkansas, he moved to Charlotte, NC, for his residency in internal medicine at Carolinas Medical Center.  Dr Wood completed his nephrology fellowship at Yale University and returned to Charlotte, where he has practiced since 2001.
